“We are expanding our pond” - TRENT

Hailing from Columbia Tennessee, a stones throw from the great music city aka Nashville, comes Yonder Grove. The band started in 2019 when Geoff was pursuing musicians to bring the name YONDER GROVE to life. He had a name but he needed to find the right guys to flesh out this name. Long story short, Geoff (guitar and vocals) met Jake (drums and vocals) at a jam session one night and they instantly realized they had something in common. Still missing the rest of the rhythm section, Jake suggested his high school band mates Trent (bass) and Corey (guitar). The fire was now lit.

The name Yonder Grove was now complete.

The influences each member brings to the group are what makes Yonder Grove unique. Sturgill Simpson, Grateful Dead, and The Band just to name a few. Oh yeah and don’t forget to throw a little funk on the flame to ignite the Grove sound.

For a band that is still in it’s early infancy. Yonder Grove has achieved many things. They self fund all their merchandise, recording, and video/social media needs by sustaining a very healthy booking schedule. Starting out in Columbia, TN is a small pond indeed. But this band has traveled from Georgia to Gulf Shores, Kentucky to Nashville, with no stop in sight.

It’s clear that they are expanding their pond.
